    Chin Woo New Zealand Victorious in Shanghai

    Congratulations to Chin Woo New Zealand competitors representing New Zealand at the World Chin Woo Games in Shanghai.

    The following is the result from our athletes:

    5 X “Gold” medals
    7 x “Silver” medals
    5 x “Bronze” medals.
    2 x “4th placing”
    1 x “Fifth”, “Sixth” and “Seventh” placing.

    Also Jun Selwyn has received a 1st level award for his demonstration.

    Once again, congratulations to all competitors and we wish you a safe trip home.

    Results of the 7th Chin Woo New Zealand Annual Competition

    This year the tournament was held at the Murrays Bay Intermediate School, Sunrise Avenue, Northshore on Sunday 12/09/2010. With 29 categories and 130 items been contested in this event, were attended by many competitors and supporters.

    Chin Woo Annual Competition

    The Chin Woo Athletic Association of New Zealand will be holding its 7th Annual Wushu Competition in Auckland.

    The competition is open to the public and will be held on Sunday 12th September 2010 at Murrays Bay Intermediate School, North Shore.

    The event showcases some of New Zealand’s most talented Wushu Athletes and offers a great opportunity to see some great performances.

    Be sure to check it out if you are in the Auckland region.

    Congratulations to the New Zealand Chin Woo Wushu Team

    Congratulations to Chin Woo NZ Head Coach George Guo and the New Zealand Chin Woo Team who recently competed at the World Wushu Carnival held in Ipoh, Malaysia.

    Against the might of the Chinese athletes and the home advantage of the Malaysians, the New Zealand team held their own and returned victorious with several medals in what were extremely competitive events.

    Your achievements are a testament to the persistent hard work that you and your coach have put in over many years. Well done from all of us at Chin Woo New Zealand.
